Email Your Provincial Elected Representative

We need to work together to urge provincial and territorial governments to ensure that Health Canada-approved treatments are accessible through public funding without further delay, to allow for the best possible outcomes for all Canadians living with Hereditary ATTR (hATTR) amyloidosis.

For the first time, new therapies have been developed that treat the underlying cause of hATTR amyloidosis. Despite being approved by Health Canada, two new treatments – Tegsedi (inotersen) and Onpattro (patisiran) – are not yet accessible through publicly funded drug plans for patients who could benefit.

In the boxes below, please enter your name and your email address, choose your province and enter your postal code and the name of your provincial elected representative will appear. You’ll note that your email will automatically be copied to your Premier and provincial Minister of Health – both key decision makers within the provincial government. The content of your email will auto-populate, but before sending it off feel free to make any changes so that it’s more personal.  You’ll notice your name is included at the bottom of the email, so whenever you are ready, go ahead and hit send!  You’ll get a confirmation that your email was delivered, and you will receive a copy of your email in your inbox.

We’d love to know if you get a response from your provincial elected representative or anyone copied on your email.  Drop us a note at the email address at the bottom of the page.
